Superior Barre is the first & only BARRE & LIFESTYLE Studio. With an experience like non other, you will get the right leg shaking burn while building strength & confidence.
Superior Barre came to be while Desiree was on her biggest transformation over the last 3 years of losing close to 100 pounds, getting sober and becoming a mom. After stumbling on YouTube for an hour or so to find the perfect combination of low impact yet challenging workout, there was BARRE! One class & she was hooked. Practicing and building strength over the next 2 years! About 2 years in, one of these DANG targeted google ads popped up to become BARRE CERTIFIED! Desiree applied, paid the fee and got started. BUT - Truthfully that’s just how the STUDIO was born. “SUPERIOR BARRE” Company was thought about a few years ago and immediately purchased online - because Desiree knew, EVENTUALLY, she would need it.
After the pandemic of 2020, Desiree knew it was time for the name of Superior Barre to be used. One of the HARDEST and most traumatizing years since the war, people needed to not only MOVE their bodies but work on their minds. August 2020, Desiree found (what was) the perfect space to get started & BOOM! Keys signed and let the work begin! September 2020 classes began and with 1-2 students in each class, we couldn’t stop. By time 2021 rolled around, Desiree was teaching 15 classes a week to accommodate all the clients and understanding the new “protocols”. February 2021 rolls around and Desiree made the choice to close the first studio & find a bigger & more accommodating “HOME” for the next few years. April 2021, she received the keys to the new space & classes began back up in May.
SBC has been reborn and that is exactly what happens when you take your first FREE class here. You leave feeling energized, relaxed & confident all at the same time. The space is built upon the foundation of feeling safe & accepted. Barre is so versatile & different that no class is the same & while fatiguing muscles probably never used through ballet & pilates inspired movements, you will feel the burn!
SBC is expanding into doing more for the community! The space is being rented by multiple small businesses (all women owners) who bring movement & healing to our area.
